Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh to check on his health condition.

Abbas wished Khasawneh a speedy recovery, after his infection with the coronavirus.

Wednesday, Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh tested positive for COVID-19.

The Prime Minister will adhere to home isolation procedures.

This is the second time Khasawneh tests positive for the virus. The first one was on Feb. 21, 2022.
